Circa 1904, watercolor on paper, very rare early work , signed and dated lower left Anne Ramsdell Congdon, 1904.  Dedication on reverse “Nantucket Painted by Anne Ramsdell Congdon for Miss Mabel Parsons”.    9 ¼ in. x 14 in.   Very few Nantucket view watercolors by Congdon are known to exist and three are documented on the Nantucket Historical Associations digital exhibition of “The Nantucket Art Colony, 1920-45”.
