Oil on Canvas “Portrait of Captain David Baxter” (b. 4 October 1775, d. 4 February 1855), circa 1810, attributed to Charles Delin (1756-1818), a bust length portrait of Baxter facing right wearing a black high-collar coat over white vest and shirt in period frame. David Baxter Captain of the British whaleship Montezuma.
