Ralph Eugene Cahoon (American 1910-1982) Decorated Antique Wood Tea Canister, the three-panel front decorated with woman on the left panel and man on the right, both painted in profile wearing 19th century dress, and facing inward around a central table with bouquet and wine flask, the lid painted with floral decoration.

Note: While unsigned, this piece was authenticated by Rosemary Rapp, the founder of the Cahoon Museum of American Art, in September 1997. The tea canister is accompanied by its certificate of authentication.
