June Dammin was active from the ’60’s into the ’80’s
She exhibited at the Lobster Pot Gallery as well as AAN
and was a member of the Copley Society in Boston
During World War II, Dammin traveled to Puerto Rico, joined the American Red Cross, and ran a plasma bank for the Army. After Mrs. Dammin became pregnant with her first child, she and her husband moved to Baltimore and St. Louis, before settling in Weston in the early 1950s. There, she actively pursued her dream to become an artist and began studying modern art and printmaking at Brandeis University, the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, and Radcliffe College
