Signed William Lewis Roderick Scrimshaw Whale Tooth, circa 1847-1856, engraved with an active whaling scene in choppy waters depicting 2 whaleboats going on a partially submerged whale, a 3rd whaleboat with marker flags, two whaling barks, one is cutting-in. The scene is within double line borders at either end, and signed lower left W.L. Roderick.
