David Kooharian (b. Boston 1962) Oil on Canvas “The Liberty”, signed lower left. David Kooharian sold his first painting at the age of 9 at a school art show. He studied art, music, history journalism and religion at a number of colleges and universities: The Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C., Cape Cod Community College, South Eastern Massachusetts University, The Museum School of Fine Art in Boston, Massachusetts College of Art, Berklee College of Music. He is the author and illustrator of the graphic novel Medieval Tales: The Twelfth Century and most recently a new children’s book entitled Sammy’s Story.
