18th Century Nantucket Pinkham & Chadwick Family Tree Watercolor and Ink on Paper, the “Tree” commemorates the marriage and children of Peleg Pinkham and Jemima Chadwick. In the base of the brown vine, the left reads “Jemima Chadwick born Dec. 31, 1736” and the right vine reads “Peleg Pinkham born March 27, 1734”, these are written over the brown vines and are difficult to see in the photo. The ribbon that ties the two vines together on the left side reads “Married” and on the right reads May 4, 1757. The children’s birth dates: Elizabeth 1759, Daniel 1761, an unnamed child 1762, Jemima 1763, Uriah 1766, twins David & Jonathan 1789.
