Herrero has enjoyed a long and varied career in art that began at age six and has led him from illustration and design to painting scenes bursting with life, bountiful harvests and irrepressible joie de vivre. He received a BA at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and began working as an illustrator in San Francisco. Three years later he and two other artists began the highly successful graphic design agency Butte, Herrero & Hyde.
