Joseph Linden Smith (1863-1950) “The Angel in the Church of Miracoli”, watercolor on paper, signed lower right. Smith, born in Pawtucket, RI he attended Brown, MIT and studied art at the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts; he was Honorary Curator of the Egyptian Department at the MFA.
