American Whale Ivory, Pewter, Baleen & Coconut Rum Dipper, circa 1850, s-shaped handle with 8 baleen spacers and an eye hook for hanging on one end, the opposing end attached to the bowl with a large heart washer. The bowl is inlaid at the rim with a pewter sawtooth border.
