A Related Group of Three Samplers, early 19th century, silk embroidered linen, each worked with pious verses, stylized animals and floral motifs; two within an oak leaf and acorn border and inscribed “Mary Timmins” and “Sophia Timmins”, respectively. The third with alphabet registers and dedicated “The gift of C.T. to her nurse Phoebe Jones”; in giltwood frames.
