Whaleman Carved Walrus Ivory and Abalone Competition Seven-Wheel Pie Crimper, circa 1870, the handle inlaid with abalone diamonds and dots on each side with sawtooth carved edge and applied fork, one end with two zigzag wheels: one small solid and one with open heart spokes riveted to stylized bird yokes; the opposite side with four small zigzag wheels and crosshatch carved yokes and a larger open heart spoke zigzag wheel.
