Whaler Made Whale Ivory and Whalebone Swift, circa 1860, all the ivory carvings are polychromed with red line inlays, a large cup finial, 2 ribcage hubs, adjusting slide and robust clenched fist table clamp with carved jacket cuff. The acorn drop finial unscrews to release the swift from the fist; a modest 48 riveted bone stave single cage.
