Rare Nantucket 9 Spindle Bow Back Windsor Side Chair, circa 1817, signed on base “BB” Possibly Benjamin Bunker, 1917; constructed of cherry, hickory and ash, the continuous bow rising from a shaped seat with groove encompassing 9 bamboo carved spindles protruding through the crest for the exception of the central spindle; on faux bamboo carved legs and “h” stretcher.
