Large Scrimshaw “Thieves Reward” Whale Tooth, mid 19^th Century, engraved on both sides, the obverse with a sailor from the rear reaching into a long coat hanging on a peg by the door with the caption “Thieves.” The verso depicts the same sailor hanging from a noose with the caption “Reward” at the base.
