Pair of Meissen Agustus Rex Covered Palace Jars, 2nd half of the 19th Century, each jar with eight courting scene cartouches (four large and four small) surrounded with gilt scrolls and lattice decorations. Underglazed cobalt mark “AR”.
One jar with 2 hairline cracks and repair to 5″ of cover brim.
