Mellie Cooper graduated from the Pratt Institute where she completed a Masters of the Fine Arts degree in sculpture. Cooper’s artwork combines sculpture, printmaking, painting, and collage in three-dimensions involving the creation of molds into which paper pulp is pressed, and the result painted with diluted acrylic.
