Professor, printmaker, painter and sculptor, John Lochtefeld has been celebrated during his tenure and since among more than 20 invitational and solo exhibitions. Works are held in private and public collections from Western Europe and across the Americas to Honolulu and Tokyo. Awards include the Emile Jacque Gold Medal from the University of Notre Dame, the Berwick Award for Watercolor, the Gannon Award for Liturgical Art as well as dozens of awards among exhibitions mounted by the Artists’ Association of Nantucket.
