Three Various Chinese Famille Rose Cabinet Plates, 19^th Century, the largest decorated with butterflies and insects amid a robust bouquet of fruiting and flowering branches within gold-ground border of auspicious objects, fruits and blossoms. The smaller with roundel depicting birds perching on flowering branches issuing from stylized rocks within deep border enclosing eight Lingzhi-shaped reserves of sea creatures on floral sprays. The smallest with a thousand butterfly border encircling a vignette of 3 elderly scholars taking refreshment seated at table and served by an attendant.
