Artist Signed Buffalo Pottery Vase, circa 1909, with colonial scenes depicting “The Fellow Field Hunt”,  signed J. Gerhardt, signed upon the base “Made at Ye Buffalo Pottery, Deldare Ware Underglaze, 1909”.  Buffalo Pottery was made in Buffalo, New York after 1902. The company was started by the Larkin Company that had manufactured soap since 1875. Larkin wanted to give a soap dish as a premium, hence he opened a pottery company.
