British Woolie “Embroidered Portrait of an Unidentified American Warship Under Sail”, circa 1858-1865, wool, canvas and silk, likely representing one of the following three ships: USS Colorade, USS Minnesota or USS Wabash, all were steam screw frigates all launched within two years of each other and each saw action in the Civil War, in maple frame with gilt liner.
