Scarce Oil on Canvas “Portrait of Jose Reyes Crafting a Nantucket Basket in His Workshop”, circa 1950s, unsigned in molded gilt frame.  Reyes’ workshop was originally on York Street, Nantucket. His original workshop was donated to the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum and was on display for 20-plus years, and the workshop is now exhibited at the Whaling Museum, Nantucket Island.
