19th C. Sailor Made Whale Ivory and Tropical Wood Walking Stick, circa 1850, carved whale ivory knob with graduated scales, mother of pearl and baleen inlaid dots, tropical wood shaft separated by ivory band ending in long tropica wood ferrule section.
