Unusual Antique Portable Folding Bentwood Walking Stick Stool, designed in 1866, last appeared in Thonet catalogues in 1902. Legend has it that the empress Elizabeth of Austria purchased one of these on the famous Strauchgasse, the historical shopping street in Vienna, and it never left her side once throughout her travels around Europe.
