Frank Weston Benson (American 1862-1951) Oil on Canvas “Portrait of Sarah ‘Daisey’ Bradstreet Dewey” circa 1913, signed upper left S.W. Benson 1913, accompanied by a hand written paid bill of sale from Frank Benson June 28, 1913 and related letter addressed to Mrs. John Dewey from Frank Benson.  The portrait was exhibited at the Worcester Art Museum, with the original Worcester Art Museum partial label on the reverse: Picture #6739 and Box #2935 on loan from Mrs. J.C. Dewey. The portrait was also exhibited in Boston. In hand carved gilt wood frame. There are additional papers pertaining to the artwork available to the successful bidder.
