World War Two U.S. Navy U.S.S. Besugo SS-321 Submarine Kill Flag, circa 1945, all wool bunting, multi-piece construction, made at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard flag loft, showing insignia and kill records of the submarine during the war. The U.S.S. Besugo was commissioned in 1944 and conducted five war patrols in the Pacific theater. The Besugo sunk the German U-Boat U-183 on April 23, 1945.
