Vintage Decorated Life Preserver “Defender”, depicting the 1895 America’s Cup Yacht Defender, New York Yacht club, the reverse with history: 9th Defender of the Cup, she was Herreshoff designed and built. She defeated the British keel cutter Valkyrie III.
