James Cromartie (1944-2016) Acrylic on Masonite “Nantucket Cemetery”, in wood frame with gilt liner. Cromartie was educated at East Carolina University. He produced commissioned portraits of the Smithsonian Institution, the U.S. Capitol, the White House, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
