Scrimshaw Sperm Whale Tooth, circa 1860, engraved on both sides, the obverse depicts a whaling bark in full sail and the letter “C” on the sail, the verso with an image of Britannia. This tooth with a small hole at each end indicates it was probably a tambua in its earlier life.
