Frank Corso (American, contemporary)

Frank Corso is a contemporary artist who was born in Syracuse, New York. From an early age he developed his interests in drawing and painting in the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. Later on he studied Fine Arts at Syracuse University as well as studying privately with artists such as Austrian born painter Robert Hoffman. Over time Corso honed his skills while traveling, painting around the United States and in Europe, particularly Italy.

Corso is affiliated with several arts societies including the Copley Society of Boston, the Pastel Society of American and the American Society of Marine Artists. He is the recipient of both the Grumbacher Gold Medal and Yankee Sagendorf Award and his work is included in private and corporate collections nationwide.
