Painter, illustrator, cartoonist, educator, Leander Churbuck was born in Wareham, Massachusetts. He was a member of  the Copley Society of Boston and the Art Students League, NYC.

Exhibited: Dallas Expo, 1903 (gold); Boston Arts Club, 1906-07; Denver Expo, 1909 (prize)
